You can thank the special teachers in your life on National Teacher Appreciation Day, which is an “unofficial” national holiday that celebrates teachers. National Teacher Appreciation Day occurs annually on the first Tuesday in May; this year it is on May 3. This day of honor is part of a week-long celebration during the first week of May.
Talks about a day to celebrate teachers began in the 1940s. But Congress did not affirm a National Teachers Day until March 7, 1980. The date of celebration later changed to the first Tuesday in May in 1985, as it stands today.
Since teachers play a big role in the lives of youth, Rosemarie Collections has many options to help show you care.
This silver-toned teacher charm bracelet appreciates the “three R’s:" reading, writing and arithmetic.
Other thoughtful gifts include bangle bracelets with engraved prayers and matching bookmarks. Click here to see this "Teachers Blessing" bracelet or the “Teacher Charm Serenity Prayer” one.

Since 1999, the puzzle ribbon has been the worldwide symbol for autism awareness.
According to the Autism Society, the puzzle pieces signify this complicated disease. The variety of shapes and colors point to the various people ASD strikes. The bright colors represent hope that with awareness and early treatment, ASD patients will have fulfilling lives.

Shamrock Jewelry
The shamrock has become synonymous with St. Patrick’s Day. As legend has it, Patrick explained the Holy Trinity—the Father, Son and Holy Spirit—with a three-leafed shamrock, according to National Geographic. Now, wearing a shamrock has become customary every March 17.
Tradition has it that you’ll get pinched if you are not wearing green, so make sure you are prepared! Show your Irish spirit with our Irish-themed Pandora-style bracelet or our Good Luck Bangle bracelet. We even have shamrock scarves!
You may see people wearing the trinity knot, also called a triquetra, on St. Patrick's Day. In contemporary Irish culture, this knot symbolizes a promising relationship of love, protection and honor. We also feature jewelry with the trinity knot, including our "Trinity and Celtic Knot Jewelry Bracelet."
Whether you are Irish or pretend to be, we can help you get into the St. Patrick’s Day spirit! Click here to see our entire “Irish Collection.”

Love is in the air with Valentine's Day around the corner. It is also symbolized by padlocks placed on the Rialto Bridge in Italy, Brooklyn Bridge in New York and the Hohenzollern Bridge in Germany, among other cities around the world.
Motivated by Federico Moccia’s novel, “I Want You,” couples the world over are professing their everlasting love to each other by adhering a padlock to a bridge. The trend has become popular—so much so that some cities, including Paris, have removed locks because they are damaging the structure beneath. So if you see a bridge covered in locks, you will know it’s just a couple in love!
Rosemarie, on behalf of her company, Rosemarie Collections, wrote a check for $2,016.22 to Susan G. Komen Columbus last month. The donation is a result of a partnership between Rosemarie Collections and Susan G. Komen Columbus, an affiliate of Susan G. Komen—an organization that strives to “save lives and end breast cancer forever.” Rosemarie Collections donates 20 percent of their “Pink Ribbon" collection sales to Susan G. Komen Columbus, and in December 2015, Rosemarie handed the jewelry company's first contribution to Katie Carter, Executive Director of Susan G. Komen Columbus.
It is said that most people know someone who has been affected by breast cancer. For Rosemarie, this person is her mother—a breast cancer survivor. “Breast cancer impacts so many people,” says Rosemarie, “and we, at Rosemarie Collections, are inspired to work toward this critical mission of breast cancer awareness and early detection.”
In 2014 Rosemarie Collections launched a “Pink Ribbon” jewelry line with a dual purpose. First, the company gives a portion of its proceeds to Susan G. Komen Columbus to aid in the fight against breast cancer. Second, the “Pink Ribbon” collection aims to spread breast cancer awareness, inspire hope to patients and honor survivors.
That said, Rosemarie Collections offers dozens of “Pink Ribbon” items, such as bracelets, lapel pins, bows and scarves. A few recent additions include a “Be Strong” ribbon awareness pendant necklace, and a "Pink Ribbon" pattern infinity scarf.
It is not too late to make a difference. Rosemarie Collections continues their partnership with Susan G. Komen Columbus. Your purchase is a small way to make a big difference in the lives of thousands. (Written by Amy Haddad).

Brooches evolved from ornamental pins, dating back to the Early Bronze Age. Even then, they had dual roles: decorative and practical, often used to clasp for a wrap or shawl. Now brooches are making a comeback: they are fashionable and functional once again.
Keeping up with the trends, Rosemarie Collections offers a range of brooches to fit different occasions.
Our “Gemstone” brooches are simple in design, but bold in appearance. The silver and black brooch is a staple item that is easy to pair with just about anything.
Turquoise is popular, and our turquoise brooch is a classy alternative. Pair this brooch with a necklace or bracelet from our “Turquoise Jewelry” collection to really make a statement!
Or maybe you are looking to add a little sparkle to the coat or handbag you will be using all winter long. We have several options, including this "Pave Crystal Vintage-Style Brooch."
Today's runway models have shown creative ways to wear brooches: being placed on dresses, purses, shoes or even in one’s hair. There's no wrong way to wear a brooch!

Pearls are simple, but classy; stylish, yet sophisticated. The Duchess of Cambridge, Kate Middleton, and celebrities, including Scarlett Johansson and Sarah Jessica Parker, have been seen wearing this elegant staple. Now traditional pearl jewelry is being used in novel ways, as revealed by recent events in today’s fashion industry. And Rosemarie Collections is keeping up with the latest trends.
At Chanel’s 2014 runway show, a model wore an open-front choker with two large pearls at the ends. More recently, pearls by Stella McCartney were included in the Paris Fashion Week this spring. More than a traditional pearl necklace, Leah Karp, InStyle’s accessories director, referred this set of pearls “like a sculpture on the neck.”
Whether you want to make a statement, or if you prefer something more subdued, Rosemarie Collections features several pearl options. Click here to see the “Pearl” collection on our website.
Below are just a few examples:
Keeping with Coco Chanel’s famous quote, you can find multi-strand beaded necklaces with earrings at Rosemarie Collections. Each set is available in one of three colors: royal blue, burnt orange or brown.
Our coil floral faux pearl beaded bracelet is the perfect addition to a simple, black dress. Or it can add some charm to a casual outfit.
If you prefer a more traditional style for an upcoming work or holiday party, accessorize your look with a beaded, silver colored, double necklace and earring set.
So when deciding what jewelry to wear, remember what Jackie Kennedy once said: “Pearls are always appropriate.”
